The electric gate valve is an industrial valve driven by an electric actuator as its core power source. Through motor-driven valve stem operation, the gate (disc) moves vertically up and down to achieve on/off control of pipeline media. It is widely used in fluid conveying systems across industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, power generation, water treatment, metallurgy, and municipal engineering. Its core function is to provide reliable media shut-off (particularly suitable for large-diameter, high-pressure applications), ensuring system isolation and safe maintenance.

1. Automated Control & Convenient Operation

- Equipped with intelligent electric actuators (including motor, gearbox, and controller), supporting remote control (integrated into PLC/DCS systems) and local push-button operation, enabling unattended operation.


2. Reliable Sealing & Superior Shut-Off Performance

- Gate designs include wedge-type or parallel-type configurations. Wedge-type gates automatically compensate for sealing surface wear, while parallel-type gates are suitable for large-diameter, low-pressure applications with strong sealing stability.


3. Low Flow Resistance & Adaptability to High-Parameter Conditions

- In the fully open position, the gate is completely retracted, providing a straight-through flow passage with extremely low flow resistance (flow coefficient significantly lower than that of globe valves), resulting in excellent energy efficiency.


4. Rugged Construction & Long Service Life

- Valve stems are manufactured from stainless steel with nitriding or chromium-plated surface treatment for corrosion and wear resistance.

- Stuffing boxes utilize flexible graphite or PTFE packing, providing reliable sealing with low friction to minimize stem wear.


5. Wide Adaptability & Flexible Structural Configurations

- Supports flange connections, threaded connections, and welded connections (butt-weld/socket-weld) to accommodate various pipeline installation requirements.

- Available in rising-stem gate valve (stem movement visible for easy position indication) and non-rising-stem gate valve (stem concealed within the valve body for space-saving installation), allowing selection based on installation environment.

1. Excellent Sealing Performance: Utilizes cemented carbide sealing faces, resilient seals, or clearance-fit rotor-housing designs. Achieves high air-lock efficiency with low air leakage rate (typically ≤3%), ensuring negative pressure stability in dust collection and pneumatic conveying systems.

2. High Degree of Automation: Can be integrated with PLC control systems and level sensors for remote control, automatic start/stop, or intermittent discharge, reducing manual intervention.

3. Adaptable to Harsh Operating Conditions: Key components such as the housing and rotor are manufactured from wear-resistant cast iron, stainless steel, or ceramic-lined materials, offering high-temperature and abrasion resistance. Suitable for dusty and granular materials (e.g., cement, fly ash, mineral powder, etc.).

4. Compact Structure & Reliable Operation: Small footprint, easy installation and maintenance, rapid pneumatic response, low failure rate, and long service life.

5. Uniform Discharge: By adjusting actuation frequency or rotor speed, metered discharge can be achieved within the range of 6–100 m³/h to meet various process requirements.

Petrochemical Industry: Crude oil, refined products, natural gas, and chemical raw materials (e.g., methanol, ethylene glycol, acid/alkali solutions) conveying pipelines, as well as storage tank inlets/outlets – for media shut-off and system isolation, ensuring equipment maintenance and operational safety.

2. Power Industry: Thermal, nuclear, and hydroelectric power systems – steam pipelines, feedwater pipelines, cooling water pipelines, as well as boiler and turbine inlet/outlet pipes – achieving reliable shut-off of high-temperature, high-pressure media.

3. Water Treatment Industry: Raw water, clean water, and wastewater conveying pipelines in waterworks and sewage treatment plants, as well as pump station outlets and reservoir inlets/outlets – for flow control and system isolation.

4. Metallurgical Industry: Cooling water, hydraulic oil, gas, and oxygen conveying pipelines in steel and non-ferrous metal smelting – adapted to high-temperature, high-dust conditions to ensure stable smelting processes.

5. Municipal Engineering: City gas pipelines, heating pipelines, and water supply/drainage networks – for zone isolation and maintenance switching, suitable for complex outdoor and underground installation environments.
