Product Description

Ⅰ、Brief introduction

　　Screw conveyor is continuous conveyor machinery without traction components. There is no additional driving part outside closed trough except drive unit. It has the advantages of simple structure, less land occupation, equipment easy to be sealed, convenient for multi-point feeding and discharging, easy operation and management. It’s normally used for conveying of powdery and granular material such as raw meal, pulverized coal powder, cement and slag in horizontal or less than 20 ° tilt direction. It can also be used as feeding machine or completing mixing operation during conveying period. 

Screw conveyor is with disadvantage of strong running resistance and with more power consumption compared with other conveyors,and with faster wearing on parts and large amount of maintenance. It’s not suitable for conveying of material with character of sticky and easy to agglomerate, granule nubbly, large wearing resistance, and temperature of conveyed material shall be lower than 200 ℃ . It is commonly used in occasions of small and medium sized conveying capacity with conveying distance less than 50m.

Screw conveyor commonly used can be divided into LS type (U shape groove type) and MLG (tube type) as per structure form and selection can be determined according to actual requirement.
