The bag of the bulk loader is the core component of dust control in the bulk material loading and unloading system, which plays a key role in filtering and escaping dust and avoiding material loss. It is widely used in industries such as power, building materials, and chemical engineering. Damaged cloth bags not only cause material leakage and loss, but also lead to environmental pollution, equipment failures, and other issues. Therefore, rapid detection and timely replacement of damaged bags are important links to ensure the stable operation of the system.
1、 The core method for rapid detection of damages
Convenient and real-time testing methods should be used during on-site operations, without the need for complex disassembly or specialized equipment
1. Visual inspection method: This is a basic and rapid detection method. Inspection personnel can visually observe the surface of the bulk machine bag. If there are holes, threads, localized corrosion and discoloration on the cloth surface, or dust leakage traces at the interface (such as floating ash particles or accumulated ash spots), it can be judged as damaged; At the same time, it can assist auditory judgment. Normal bag exhaust shows uniform low noise, while damaged areas may produce a "plop" abnormal sound due to turbulent airflow, which can be preliminarily located without the need for tools.
2. Negative pressure difference monitoring method: The bag is used as a filtering element to maintain a stable negative pressure difference inside and outside during normal operation (usually 200-800Pa, adjusted according to the working conditions). When the bag is damaged, the airflow passes through without filtration, causing a sudden drop in resistance and a significant decrease in the pressure difference gauge value. The real-time parameters of the DCS system or on-site inspection can directly reflect the abnormality, and the damage can be quickly detected without stopping the machine, making it suitable for continuous operation systems.
3. Real time dust concentration monitoring method: Install a dust concentration sensing device at the exhaust outlet of the bulk loader or downstream of the bag, and the exhaust concentration should be below 50mg/m ³ under normal operating conditions; If the bag is damaged, unfiltered dust will be directly discharged, and the concentration will quickly rise above the threshold to trigger an alarm. This automatic monitoring method can achieve real-time warning without human supervision, without the need for manual high-frequency inspections.
4. Smoke positioning method: If a single damaged bag needs to be accurately located, a temporary smoke test can be used: after stopping the bulk machine to release pressure, a small amount of safe smoke is introduced into the bag cavity, and external smoke leakage points are observed. Within 10 minutes, the specific damaged location can be locked, and the investigation efficiency is much higher than that of meat eye search.
2、 Optimization points for timely replacement
Replacing tasks requires reducing downtime, ensuring replacement quality, and minimizing the impact on production
1. Preparation of spare parts: Stock up according to commonly used specifications on site, and place spare cloth bags of matching length, caliber, and interface type in a dedicated storage area next to the equipment to avoid temporary procurement time and achieve replacement as needed.
2. Quick preparation before replacement: Record the bag model and replacement cycle in advance, tidy up the tools (wrenches, sealants, clamps) before stopping the machine, and immediately perform safety steps such as power-off, hanging warning signs, and pressure relief after stopping the machine to shorten the preparation time.
3. Installation tips: When dismantling old cloth bags, handle them gently to avoid pulling adjacent intact cloth bags; Align the interface of the new cloth bag during installation, tighten it evenly with a special clamp, apply high-temperature resistant sealant to the joint, and test run for 10 minutes after installation to check for no dust leakage and normal pressure difference before putting it into formal operation to ensure replacement quality.
4. Combination of preventive replacement: Develop a regular replacement plan based on the working conditions. For example, if the bag has a service life of about 3-6 months under normal temperature conditions, it can be replaced during maintenance in advance to avoid downtime losses caused by sudden damage and achieve a "combination of preventive replacement".
In summary, the damage detection of bulk machine bags needs to rely on convenient on-site methods, and replacement requires pre preparation and optimization of the process. Through a rapid response detection and replacement mechanism, equipment loss can be effectively reduced and the stable operation of the system can be guaranteed.
